I began planning my Photography career when I was 15 years old!
In my hometown I was known as 'the girl who printed a photo on a wall'. I inspired people with my striving and always wanting to get further out of the box. I wanted to progress my photography, push the boundaries and go one step bigger and better every time.
I worked alongside the local Photographer and we soon became inseparable friends. We shared a passion for light and John supported me as I set up my first photography business, 'Memories'.
John taught me to really see light, to play with light and paint others in light. Modelling for John taught me so much. It was invaluable studio experience.
I joined the Fire Service as a Retained Firefighter and responded from home in-between shoots. I was on call for up to 130 hours per week until I had my son, Josh.
I completed Fire Basic Training again after my maternity leave was over, determined to fit everything in..
I left the Fire Service when childcare limitations made it impossible to give enough availability.
In 2013, I was involved in a car accident which left me unable to lift my camera for 9 months.
I picked up a paintbrush and discovered I could paint!
I healed through art and began enjoying painting murals on walls.
I have enjoyed lecturing Photography at various colleges over the years.
I also love helping others develop their Photography skills through modelling whilst teaching and my YouTube channel 'Claire's School Of Photography' in memory of
John Bigglestone.
During Lockdown I wrote my first book, 'Piano Fingers'.
I now specialise in creative band Photography and Promotional Portrait Photography.
The loss of John left me sad to pick up my camera for a while. Now I have my spark back I am enjoying Photography again and inspiring others along the way..
